This is our story with Reedville Park
|
 |
On a recent trip I passed a sign on the
side of the freeway that said "Kiss Your Landlord
Goodbye" Well, if your going to put your new
home in a Manufactured Home Park nothing could be further
from the truth. Read our story and find out the dangers
of placing your home in Reedville Park. |
| My wife and I have
been renting for almost 20 years both together and
individually. In that time we have had many landlords.
Some good and some not. In all that time I would say we
may have received 15 pages of various kinds of letters
and notices including lease agreements. I'm sure this is
probably about the same for most people. In the 9 months
we lived in Reedville Park we received about 70 pages of
letters, notices, rules & regulations, and the lease
agreement. Listed below are some of our favorite letters.
We feel this will demonstrate the dangers of owning a
home and placing it on rented property. |

Pets |
We received this letter about a week or two
after we moved in. It was our third letter to
date. Oh, Our cat has never been outside. |
| Being
a Spectator |
This is one of our
favorites. We feel this letter more than any
other demonstrates Susan Rae's dislike for our
son. |

Again, Placing blame on
our son. |
| Ice |
Our son and another
park resident making ice in the cold weather. |

Rent |
Although the ice melted
a few days later Susan Rae still refused our
rent. |

Manufactured Home in Reedville Park. We will
compare that to our current lease option, a
larger home and a larger lot with one pament. |
